This kitchen came with slide-out shelves in the lower cupboards, but only the top ones.
Thanks to yoga, I can still
clamber down to get the Dutch oven on the bottom, but how long will that be
true?
I stopped by the town library to load up on reading material and, as I often do, checked on some friends for a quiet ego boost. All four of them were there together, which was pretty cool, although hopefully that won’t last.
In the past, I’ve always only found one or two on the shelves, making me wonder if they even have my books anymore, when actually if I’d thought about it, that meant people were reading them.
Duh.
This week we did a tri-footed mug. We only have a few more classes so I hope there will be time for things to get fired and glazed.

That's quite a fancy mug! Yes, it's a good sign when your books are missing from the library shelves -- but at least they're enjoying a little reunion and you know they haven't been lost.
ReplyDeleteLost or as I often worried, culled and thrown out.
DeleteSo gratifying to see your own novels at the library! Are you writing a new one?
ReplyDeleteYes, theoretically. But I’m probably the laziest writer alive. I’ve been on the same chapter for weeks.
DeletePull out shelves are a dream of mine, but can they be pulled out altogether so as to clean dust that gathers under them? I'm still able to get down and get things from the back of bottom shelves though it is a nuisance and then of course they have to be put back again after.
ReplyDeleteAh - you give me too much credit. Dusting underneath isn’t the first (or thirtieth) priority for me. But yes, the installer did show me how to pop them out.
