We hit the road soon for the trek to our daughter's in New Jersey. The temperature is 12 degrees. In spite of the joy of seeing family at the end of our trip, all those years of being trapped indoors cooking for hours are looking pretty good. At least then everyone else had to face the cold.
May your own travels be smooth and your relatives rational.
The same to you, Marty. I only have my hubby to celebrate with, and he's very rational, if occasionally misguided. :-)ReplyDelete
Same to you!!!ReplyDelete
Happily, our travels for holidays are now about 7 minutes across town.ReplyDelete
Record cold in much of the country, I've read. Happy Thanksgiving, and keep warm.ReplyDelete
LOVE the wishes in your final sentence.
Travel is always the least predictable.ReplyDelete

hope everything went smoothly and a good day was had.ReplyDelete
-10 here for Thanksgiving, and we decided we had made the right choice to NOT go anywhere. We dined sumptuously on blueberry pancakes, and it was a lovely day. I'd say we gave thanks for not going, about every twenty minutes.ReplyDelete
