It must be that inherent need to tinker with things to show some false sense of progress, but Blogger is at it again.
I admit I don't often get around to responding to comments, but last night I brought up the blog on my iPad, enjoyed reading your responses, and then tried to answer them. No luck. If I answered, I would be identified as "anonymous".I thought perhaps my laptop would be the key to success, so this morning I tried again and it got worse:
Unable to connect
Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at www.blogger.com.
The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.
Blogger and Firefox do not get along. Sigh. And Firefox is my preferred browser.
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU for sending a comment. Unlike Boud's (sorry Boud) I was able to approve it, publish it, and reply! Thank heaven. I thought I'd lost control.
DeletePS: Sometimes when I am having comment problems opening a new tab (while keeping the blog tab open) and going back to the blog helps. Good luck.
ReplyDeleteI have learned that after approving comments, if I want to see them on the blog, I have to close everything down and go back in again.
DeleteBlogging seems to get trickier all the time.
My only problems have been readers emailing to say they cannot comment. I wish I could fix it.
ReplyDeleteExcuses such as these make it all the more irritating when things don't work.
