The weather gods, busy wreaking havoc in California, have apparently found a moment to glance our way over here in Florida.
This is what I woke up to this morning:
Not exactly the weather we hoping for after driving for three days. Still, the sun is shining and it will be in the 70s all next week, so shut up, Marty.
For a different perspective, here’s a dude and his TV we came across down by the beach last week, lending a cooler hipster vibe to this town that’s usually just full of us retirees in big white sneakers.
That's pretty cold for Florida, all right, but look at that wonderful sunshine!
ReplyDeleteYup, we must have offended the weather gods in southern Arizona. The rest of January, highs will be in the 50s. We brought clothes for that, and the sun will be out, so we will bike anyway.
ReplyDeleteIt's extremely cold here in Central Florida. I feel for the folks who are coming down for the heat; however, January is usually the coldest month for us. The first year we lived here, I felt cheated that I need to dig out my sweaters and wear long pants and socks. It wasn't what I signed up for! Now I kind of enjoy a few weeks of cool weather.
ReplyDeleteHusband had the football game on last night, and I noticed it was in Florida.
ReplyDeleteMe: What's with all the big jackets and hats and stuff?
Mother Nature: Right.
Sweet little teardrop camper!
I wish I were young and fit enough to still pull any kind of camper. This is one of those nicely fitted out rigs; even has a cooking area in back.
ReplyDeleteI like the biker with the tiny caravan.
ReplyDeleteDoes he sleep in that tiny camper?!
ReplyDeleteGood question. Although he looked pretty skinny.
