Okay, just as I threatened promised, if you’re
looking for something to fill those coming long fall and winter days indoors, I
have just the solution:
My latest book Gravely Murdered, the second in the Cate MacLeod Mysteries series, is now available on Amazon.
My latest book Gravely Murdered, the second in the Cate MacLeod Mysteries series, is now available on Amazon.
It’s easily found by entering the
name of the book on the Amazon site. Once that comes up, if you click on my
name, you’ll find my previous books, Well Murdered and Earthly Needs,
all available in Kindle format or paperback.
Like its predecessor, the story
falls into the cozy mystery genre, so you’re safe from scary language, graphic
sex scenes (those are remarkably hard to write, even after a rich life), or
gratuitous violence.
What you also won’t find, and what
drives me away from most books in this category, is cats being cute, people
selling cupcakes, or alliterative names like Joanna Jones or Molly Matthews (I
don’t think. I’m trying now, all this time after writing it, to remember if did
that.)
I hope you’ll read it with a forgiving
nature and kind heart.
Just bought it on Amazon. I'm always looking for things to read these days, since our library is still closed, unless I want to get on a waiting list and then skulk to the front door at a specific time. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks, DJan!
DeleteWell done. It was a lot of work.
ReplyDeleteI don't mind the cosy mystery stories, but I do think the cute cat/talking witch cat/cupcake bakeries have been overdone.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your book.
Just bought the Kindle version. Apparently, the first one is not available here.
ReplyDeleteI take it, "here" is over the pond? That's annoying.
DeleteThank you, though. Very kind.
Congrats on your publication. It must feel great. If you wrote a Nancy Nabors or a BettyBob Blunderweisen into your plot, I'm going to call you on it.
ReplyDeleteDamn. You got me. BettyBob Blunderweisen actually plays a pivotal role.
DeleteCongratulations! I read and enjoyed "Earthy Needs". Still plan to read "Well Murdered" and now, "Gravely Murdered".
ReplyDeleteThanks!
