Whatever the opposite of claustrophobia is, Mamie
has it.
When we first adopted her at age 6, we noticed a particular tendency.
Good thing she’s not
green; we’d never find her.
It kicked in again here at Panera for breakfast.
When
she joined us for sunset on the beach, though, she emerged a bit.
At
first we wondered if she had her eye on our G & Ts, but turns out she was
angling for an ice cube of her own, even if it ended up covered in sand.
She is such a cutie pie! Love that sweet nose. :-)

ReplyDeleteAlmost more cat-like.
ReplyDeleteIndeed. Oddly, our last cat would play fetch, unlike this so-called dog.
DeleteIs there a dog who does not love ice cubes.
ReplyDeleteMamie is such a sweetie :)
ReplyDeleteArte Johnson! God, I haven't thought of that skit in years. Mamie likes to be sneaky, clearly!
ReplyDeleteshe likes to play 'where's Mamie'.

ReplyDeleteThis is a careful pup, for sure. And that's the perfect name for her. Long may she wave, er, hide...
