While we're on the subject of bike rides, here's a picture from another outing last week.
At the end of a bike trail in a neighboring town we came upon what at first seemed like the ultimate in early-Christmas celebration. It took me a minute before I realized this wasn't a cousin to the commercial mid-October hype we now see all too often.
This was a quiet recognition of our upcoming Independence Day.
Happy
Fourth of July!
Guess decorations like that just seem to come naturally
ReplyDeleteOh, NICE! Thanks for sharing. :-)
ReplyDeleteChristmas in July is big here. And getting bigger.
ReplyDeleteLove that tree - and happy 4th to you.
That one would probably go right by me but it's a nice way to say Have a great July Fourth.
ReplyDeleteThat's a nice way to celebrate. my daughter used to leave her artificial tree up all year and just changed the top ornament according to what celebration was happening. Angel or star for Christmas, stuffed bunny for Easter. wrapped gift (matchbox sized) or plastic cake for birthdays.
ReplyDeleteWow, I have never seen a tree decorated for the 4th. What a neat idea.
