Indoor Living

It must be official. All the signs are in.

I’ve lost all interest in the condition of the polish on my toenails.

I just finished switching my sock and sweater drawers.

I made pumpkin bread yesterday – and have eaten half of it.

And my immersible hand blender is currently (no pun intended, but there it is) charging for a big batch of parsnip soup.

          Winter’s arrived.

  1. I keep my toenails in good shape because I have to look at them at least twice a week in yoga class. :-)

    1. Uh oh! Good point. I was thinking about trying a class next week.
      Better throw on another coat.

  2. And I'm too cold to think about it, or anything.

  3. I've never polished my toenails in my life. Half the time I forget they're even there. It's nice to start hunkering down for winter, but a few weeks in it will get too cold and everyone will start thinking about spring which seems like it will never arrive.

  4. I also have an inclination to make soup today -- sweet potato in my case.

    1. Never had - or heard of - sweet potato soup, but it sounds wonderful.

  5. Soon enough, back to Florida! (Then you'll need to think about the toenails again.)

  6. I also am opening a different drawer for tops. Found that the summer mouse had made a nest and hole in one of my newest sweaters! First fire in the fireplace this past week and that wax perfectly toasty. Now I will be drinking too much coffee.
