April Showers

In that old rhyme about April and

the resulting May flowers, I don't think

they had today's kind of showers in

mind.
When I was out running errands,

the snow was flying horizontally and

currently the wind is gusting in the

45-50 mile-per-hour range. Oh, and

there's 2-4 more inches forecasted

for tomorrow.

Guess I'll just slide that box of

sandals back under the bed.

  1. Horizontal rain? Urk. I think I would be tempted to assume the horizontal myself. In bed. With a book or two.

  7. Good idea to slide the sandals back under the bed. Just for a few weeks, then you'll be warming up.

  9. I always worry about all the spring flowers when snow comes late. But I guess they're designed for that possibility!
